Formula:
Bi3S5
Co-described with 'UM1988-11-S:AgPbTe', 'UM1988-14-S:Bi', 'UM1988-15-S:BiPb', 'UM1988-24-Te:AgBi', and 'UM1988-25-Te:Bi'.
Chemically similar to bismuthinite, and occurs within this mineral as thin plates, 0.05-0.07 mm in size, in association with gold. Also found as a decomposition product of tsumoite; in the latter case it forms rims, 3 microns wide.
[Possibly unrecognised mixture of bismuthinite and bismuth?]
