A granitoid (a coarse grained igneous rock composed of mostly quartz, plus Kspar (alkali-feldspar) and plagioclase), with plagioclase < Kspar. More specifically a granite having an alkali-feldspar/total feldspar ratio from 0.65-0.90, and 20-60% quartz on the QAPF diagram.
