Formula:
Pd5(As,S)2 or Pd3(As,S)
Possibly identical with Unnamed (Pd Arsenide), although differs from it especially in strong enrichment in Ag, Cu, Ni, and also Au enrichment. In uraninite-bearing shale and adjacent dolomite of the Lubin and Polkowice mines, within Zechstein Cu deposits of the Fore-Sudetic Monocline, Poland.
Forms grains, usually up to 15 microns in size; forms narrow rims on native gold; also as a zone between gold and other Pd minerals.
One of many Pd-As minerals of the above deposits, the most common being 'UM1984-05-As:Pd'.
There are some reports from other sites of phases fitting to the first proposed formula.
