Dr. Bob Housley
Formula:
Pb6CuTe6+4O18(OH)2
Crystal System:
Monoclinic
Name:
Named in honor of Dr. Bob Housley, of Pasadena, California, USA, in recognition of his contributions to the mineralogy of the type locality. Bob Housley explored the entirety of Otto Mountain near Baker, California, and re-discovered the forgotten mines on it and researched their history, leading to the discovery of the suite of tellurite species and related mineral species.
