From Greek "sideros", iron, plus "azoton", nitrogen, referring to its composition.
Apparently, there is no modern confirmation of the chemical composition.
Considered by some to be a "grandfathered" species, but very inadequately described. (http://www.mindat.org/mesg-7-73751.html).
