Type Occurrence of Gjerdingenite-CaHide

General Appearance of Type Material:
Fine-grained pseudomorphs up to 0.5 x 6 x 10 mm after lamellar well-shaped crystals of vuonnemite. Also as crystals up to 0.2 x 0.3 x 2 mm in cavities proximal to pseudomorphs after vuonnemite.

Place of Conservation of Type Material:
A.E. Fersman Mineralogical Museum, Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia (92111).
Geological Setting of Type Material:
Hydrothermal assemblage in peralkaline pegmatites related to agpaitic feldspathoidal syenites.
