General Appearance of Type Material:
Single crystals and as rosettes of triangular to roughly hexagonal plates varying from 50 µm to a maximum of about 1 mm across. Individual crystals are typically <10 µm in thickness.
Place of Conservation of Type Material:
Canadian Museum of Nature, Aylmer, Quebec, Canada, catalogue number CMNMC 83719.
Geological Setting of Type Material:
Formed through the interaction of highly fractionated, hyperagpaitic fluids with sodalite syenite xenoliths.
