Na(CaNa)(Mg4Fe3+)(AlSi7O22)(OH)2
The katophorite group minerals are sodium-calcium amphiboles defined with A(Na+K+2Ca)> 0.5 apfu and 0.5 apfu < C(Al+Fe3++2Ti) < 1.5 apfu.

Ferri-katophorite is defined with

A position: Na dominant
C2+ position: Mg dominant
C3+ position: Fe dominant
W position: (OH) dominant
Crystal System:
Monoclinic
The kataphorite group species with with Mg and Fe3+>Al in the C position was named magnesio-ferrikatophorite in the 1978 and 1997 amphibole nomenclatures. The katophorite group minerals was redefined in the 2012 amphibole nomenclature renaming the Mg, Fe3+ and (OH) dominant member of the group ferri-katophorite.
