Name:
Named in honor of Friedrich Ferdinand Hermann Klockmann (12 April 1858, Schwerin, Germany - 17 November 1937, Aachen, Germany), mineralogist Technical High School, Aachen, Germany.
The Se analogue of covellite. The Cu analogue of achávalite, freboldite, and sederholmite.

Three structural modifications are analyzed by Milman (2002). Unstable under compression (will decompose to umangite and krut'aite).
