Named in honor of Yunhui Huang (黄蕴慧) (1926 – ), Chinese mineralogist, Institute of Mineral Deposit Geology and Mineral Resources, Beijing, China, in "recognition of her contributions to the mineralogical and petrological studies of a contact metamorphic Be-deposit in Hsianghualing, south-central China."
