About Achtaragdite
Hydrogrossular-chlorite-carbonate pseudomorphs after very probably wadalite or some other hydrogarnet. The real protomineral for these pseudomorphs is not exactly known up to now.
Originally described from Akhtaragda River mouth (Achtaragda River mouth), Vilyui River Basin (Vilui River Basin; Wilui River Basin), Saha Republic (Sakha Republic; Yakutia), Eastern-Siberian Region, Russia.
