Named in 1915 by Waldemar Theodore Schaller in honor of Eulagio E. Fernandini (13 September 1860; 24 December 1947), who was formerly an owner of the Minasragra deposit.
Similar to corvusite.
Somewhat soluble in cold water, giving a yellow solution.
