For the different (latin: diversus) silicate groups in its structure and cerium being the dominant rare earth element in its chemical composition
Compositionally and structurally related to ilímaussite-(Ce); also chemically similar to joaquinite-(Ce) and orthojoaquinite-(Ce). Also related to Unnamed (K-Ti analogue of ilímaussite-(Ce)).
