Improving Mindat.orgShows Photo 348894 really Sayrite ?

Hello Leon (and all the others),

i think this photo:

shows Soddyite and not Sayrite.

What do you think ?

Addition:

the crystal shows the typical appearance of Soddyite, with crystals that have an opaque core and a clear rim. See here as example (more pictures in the Soddyite-Gallery wich show this):

I pictured the wrong spot of the specimen and already asked for deleting the picture.

After final analysis I will make a new picture of the correct spot with the sayrite.

There's actually no need to delete the picture. Why not transfer it to Leon's personal gallery until the issue is resolved ?

Peter, Leon asked me to delete the photo because he made a photo of the wrong part of the specimen....he will make a new photo of the part where the actual crystals he intended to capture in the first place are located ;-)

No problem Peter.

Leon mailed me that he would rather make a new photo of the other specimen too, so I removed that one too.

But, you're right. If an analysis is pending and the up loader is satisfied with the photo, it would be best not to delete it but put it "on hold" in the user only gallery.

Hello Leon,

thank's for your fast response to my 'complaints' of your pictures.

Hopefully you can do a photo from the Sayrite on your specimen, because MINDAT needs one (No photo available yet).
