Comments: | "A few nicely formed yellowish hyalophane crystals (adularia type) were found in vugs of spessartine crystals at the Jail Hill quarry in Haddam, associated with a lens of manganese silicates and oxides. Spectrographic analysis indicates the hyalophane is manganoan." Schooner (circa 1985). Crystals reach about 1 cm. |
