Comments: | From Schooner (circa 1980s): "Dull orange-red minium is one of the lead oxides found at the lowest of the tunnels between River Road and the Connecticut River, in Middletown. This material did not yield the good X-ray pattern of the other lead oxides, massicot, litharge, and plattnerite. It is assumed to be fine-grained or impure. Interestingly, no hematite peaks were seen." |
