A former Cu occurrence/mine located in sec. 21, T15N, R7E, SBM, 11.6 km (7.2 miles) W of Silver LAke (locale), on the western margin of the Silurian Valley (E margin of the Avawatz Mountains. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in diorite and limestone. Deposit occurs along the contact between the diorite and limestone. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Production data are found in: Wright, L.A., et al (1953).
No production was reported. A few tons were shipped prior to 1919 with little profit realized.
