Discovered in 1907 the property was developed by Charles Gifford in 1908 and then by Moose Horn Mines Ltd. between 1909 and 1914. A total of three shafts where sunk, the main one to a depth of 125ft. with two winzes to 175 and 200 ft. Drifting on the 125ft level totaled 1000ft. During mining operations some high grade ore was encountered and a trail shipment of 3 tons or ore was made in 1910, other than that there is no record of production.
