A former Cr occurrence/prospect located in sec. 8, T1S, R14E, MDM, 1.3 km (4,200 feet) SSE of Chinese Station and 2.0 km (6,400 feet) W of Chinese Camp, along Sixbit Gulch. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a Cr deposit hosted in Late Jurassic Harzburgite. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).
Local structures include shearing of the host rock.
Workings include underground openings consisted of a caved shaft 12 feet deep.
