Worked from 1837 to 1842, producing 1,190 tons of 10% copper ore and 110 tons of black tin. A shaft and some overgrown burrows are located north of Trenoweth Farm, about 0.5 mile NW of Carnhell Green.

The mine is famous for the spectacular chalcedony specimens it produced.
These where recovered from the adit level around 1843.
