A former magnesite occurrence/mine located in the center NE¼ sec. 13, T6S, R4E, MDM, 1.3 km (0.8 mile; 4,300 feet) W of Red Mountain (summit), E of Sweetwater Creek and NNW of the Harney School, on private land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 3 (Coast Ranges and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include surface openings.
