A former Mn occurrence/mine located in the NW¼SW¼ sec. 29, T6S, R5E, MDM, about 6.7 km NNW of Black Mountain (summit), along the E canyon wall of Beauregard Creek (W end of the ridge between Beuaregard Creek and Jones Creek), on private land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
The ore body strikes NW and dips 65SW to vertical at a width of 1.83 meters and a length of 30.48 meters. The Mn is mainly stockwork in white chert but some ore is massive. The ore bed is 100 feet long with a maximum width of 6 feet. The walls converge downward. The grade decreases gradually to the SE. Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan melange.
