A former Au occurrence/mine located in the center NE¼ sec. 5, T3S, R5W, MDM, the state park 2.2 km (1.4 miles; 7,200 feet) E of Daly City (0.5 mile S of the Guadalupe School), on state & county park lands. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Part of the San Bruno Mountain group.
Mineralization is hosted in Late Jurassic sandstone. Stringers occur in Franciscan Formation host rock. Commonly occur in fractures. Local rocks include Upper Cretaceous marine rocks, unit 1 (Upper Great Valley Sequence).
Workings include unspecified surface openings. Some small development work was done.
None of the veins has sufficient extent or richness to be of economic importance.
