A former Au prospect/mine located in the SE¼SW¼SW¼ sec. 22, T7N, R15E, SBM, 6.5 km (4.0 miles) SSW of Castle Dome (coordinates of record) and 6.6 km (4.1 miles) NW of Danby (0.8 mile S of Bonanza Spring), along the southern margin of the Clipper Mountains. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in andesite. The deposit is a 3 foot thick vein. Local rocks include Plio-Pleistocene and Pliocene loosely consolidated deposits.
Workings include underground openings comprised of a shaft.
