A perlite occurrence located in sec. 35, T8N, R10E, SBM, the Bristol Mountains, 11.7 km (7.3 miles) NE of Klondike, E of Siberia Wash and N of Interstate highway 40. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 8 (Northern Mojave Desert).
