A former Au-Ag-Cu occurrence/mine located 0.8 km (0.5 mile) WSW of Ragtown and 3.5 km (2.2 miles) NNE of Stedman (3.5 miles S of Ludlow). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is . This deposit warrants additional exploration.
Mineralization is hosted in dacite. The ore body is 1.52 meter thick. The deposit is comprised of Cu- and Fe-stained siliceous breccia zones 4 to 5 feet thick. Local rocks include Tertiary intrusive rocks (hypabyssal), unit 7 (Northern Mojave Desert).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of shallow shafts, adits and pits.
Analytical data results: Channel samples from 4 to 5 foot thick zone assayed 0.03-0.12 ounce Au, 0.1-0.2 ounce Ag per ton, and 0.28-0.93% Cu. Selected samples assayed 0.005 ounce Au, 0.10 ounce Ag, and 2.46% Cu.
