An Fe occurrence located in the SW¼ sec. 1, T7N, R22E, SBM, about 14 km ESE of Eagle Peak (summit) and 9.1 km (5.7 miles) WNW of Whale Mountain (Chemehuevi Mountains), S of the Needles Municipal Airport. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. This property shows little promise.
Mineralization is hosted in Pliocene conglomerate. Minor magnetite clast occur and appear to be derived from thrusted Precambrian rocks underlying the conglomerate. Local rocks include Tertiary nonmarine rocks, undivided.
