A clay (bentonite) occurrence located in sec. 25, T10N, R2E, SBM, 7.0 km (4.3 miles) NE of Yermo, along the SE end of the Calico Mountains. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in lake sediments. Local rocks include Plio-Pleistocene and Pliocene loosely consolidated deposits.
Workings include surface openings.
