A former Zn-Pb-Au-Cu-Fe occurrence/mine located in secs. 22, 23 and 27, T3N, R1E, SBM, 3.8 km (2.3 miles) W of Silver Peak [1] (coordinates of record), along the eastern margin of Burnt Flat, on National Forest land. The deposit/property comprises 200 acres. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in granite, dolomite and limestone. The ore body is lenticular in form, strikes N34E and dips 75E at a thickness of 4.57 meters and a length of 304.8 meters. The deposit is an iron gossan on contact between granite and dolomitic limestone. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges)

Workings include underground openings comprised of a lower tunnel driven N35W for 133 feet as a crosscut, then SW 120 feet on the vein. The upper tunnel is 300 feet above the lower tunnel and is driven W 180 feet. There are 700 feet of crosscuts and drifts on the lower tunnel.

80 tons of ore was reported to have yielded/assayed at 22% Pb, 7% Zn and 20 ounces Ag/ton.

Analytical data results: Zn 18%, Pb 4.5%, Fe 30.
