A Au-Zn-Cu-Ag occurrence/prospect/mine located in secs. 28 & 33, T15N, R14E, SBM, about 5.6 km NNE of Kessler Peak, on an eastern spur of the Ivanpah Range (4.8 miles S of Kokoweef Peak), on federal reservation land (Mojave National Preserve/East Mojave National Scenic Area). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. Idle since 1906.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in gneiss. Deposit involves re-cemented quartz breccia. Associated rocks include granite. Local rocks include Cambrian marine rocks.
Workings include underground openings comprised of 3 shafts caved below 50 feet.
