A Sn-Mn-W occurrence/prospect located in sec. 10, T1N, R4W, SBM, 2.7 km (1.7 miles) SSE of Marshall Peak (coordinates of record) and 10.0 km (6.2 miles) N of San Bernardino proper, along the northern margin of the city, between the mouths of Sycamore Canyon on the W and the mouth of Waterman Canyon on the E, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
