An Fe-Mg(magnesite) deposit/mine located in secs. 3 & 4, T6N, R2W, SBM, 4.7 km (2.9 miles) NW of Sidewinder Mountain (summit) (coordinates of record), on the NW spur of Sidewinder Mountain, 12 miles E of Victorville. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

NOTE: USGS MRDS database file #10110943 presents MRDS file #10164763 as a related file; however, it apparently pertains to a baryte deposit of the same name elsewhere in the county.

Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Mojave Desert).

Workings include unspecified surface and underground openings.
