A former Ag-Pb-Cu mine located in sec. 18, T2S, R32E, MDM, 0.7 km (2,200 feet) ENE of Buscones Peak. Operated and produced in 1942. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Production information: A small shipment of ore from the Blind Springs Hill District in 1942. Smelter recovery was 111 ounces Ag/ton, 4% Cu and 7% Pb (these data may not be relevent to this particular mine).
