A stone deposit located in sec. 22, T42N, R12E, MDM, 4.5 km (2.8 miles) SW of Alturas, along the W side of highway 54. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).
Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
