A former Hg mine located in sec. 1, T10N, R8W, MDM, 3.1 km (1.9 miles) SSE of Castle Rock Springs and 4 miles NW of the Great Western Mine.
Disseminations of cinnabar and pyrite in a ledge of silica-carbonate altered serpentinite, occurring in a wide fault zone that separates serpentinite from sandstone.
