Silver was discovered on this property in 1931 by Spud Arsenault. Work included a 1956-1957 underground development program on the 2nd level, mining of stopes and stockpiling of ore in 1965-1966. Rod Tyson found this locality. Rod tried to tell the mining company how rich it was but they knew better and told him to take it all. So he did!!! However that good fortune was attenuated when he arrived in Tucson with a room full of El Bonanza Silvers, the same year that Batopilas flooded the market at Tucson!!! (RWMW)
