A former Na-salt deposit/mine located in sec. 28, T32S, R34E, MDM, 3.2 km (2.0 miles) ESE of Monolith and 10.1 km (6.3 miles) ESE of Tehachapi, along the E margin of Proctor (Dry) Lake. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Workings include unspecified surface openings/operations.
Production was 92-98% pure salt scraped from the dry lake bed in late summer.
