A former Au-Ag-Pb mine located in the NW¼ (estimated) sec. 30, T17S, R45E, MDM, 0.6 km (0.4 mile) SE of Skidoo, on National Park Service land (Death Valley National Park). Property consisted of 12 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Possibly part of the Skidoo Mine holdings.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with 5 parallel veins varying from 1 to 4 feet in thickness, hosted in gneiss. The ore body strikes N-S and dips 40E at a thickness of 1.22 meters. Local rocks include Cenozoic (Tertiary) granitic rocks? (Skidoo Pluton).
Workings include underground openins comprised of shafts and tunnels totaling 488 feet. A 152 foot tunnel (adit) intersects a 65 foot shaft.
