A former Cu-wollastonite-Ag-Au mine located in sec. 21, T21S, R45E, MDM, 3.4 km (2.1 miles) SW of Panamint (site), on the divide between Surprise Canyon and Happy Canyon, on National Park Service wilderness land (Death Valley National Park/Death Valley Wilderness). Owned by the Lacana Mining Inc., California (1981). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 1 (Death Valley).
