A former Fe-P-silica-S mine located in sec. 1, T19S, R38E, MDM, 5.4 km (3.4 miles) E of Sugar Loaf (summit), about 15 miles NE of Olancha, on Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Coso Range Wilderness). Owned by J. R. Le Cyr, Tucson, Arizona. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in granite. Deposit is a series of parallel veins. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Production data are found in Tucker, W.B. (1938): 425.
