A B-borate occurrence/prospect located in sec. 7, T25N, R3E, SBM, 2.1 km (1.3 miles) W of Ryan, just W of the Sigma Mine, on National Park Service wilderness land (Death Valley National Park/Death Valley Wilderness). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is hosted in rocks of the Miocene Furnace Creek Formation (tuff, clay, mud, mudstone, sandstone). Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of pits and a shaft.
