A mine in zoned granite pegmatite.

In 1955, Metro Minerals and Uranium Mines, Limited, held the old Woodcox
property, lot 17, concession VIII, Monteagle Township, Hastings County,
and explored the granite pegmatite dike under the old pit by seven drill-holes
totalling 1,472 feet. These holes are reported by the management to have inter
sected widths of feldspar of 10-45 feet. (Satterly, 1956)

A reported 4087 tons of feldspar were shipped from this showing between 1921 and 1923 (Hewitt, 1967).
