A former Au-Ag-Cu-Zn-Bi-W-Pb-Ba (baryte) mine located in the SE¼ sec. 9, T43N, R7W, 4.0 km (2.5 miles) SE of Ouray, halfway up Bear Creek Canyon, on the northwest slopes of Engineer Mountain, 2 air miles (3.2 km) SE of Ouray at 10,000 feet altitude. Started about 1875 and closed 1900; sporadic activity from 1900 to 1907. The Zanett haulage tunnel was driven in 1981 at the Zanett level from Ohio Park.
Ore is quartz veins in andesite breccia.
