A stone deposit located in the center of sec. 34, T2N, R2W, MDM, 1.0 km (0.6 mile; 3,200 feet) SSE of Pacheco. Operated by J. M. Christen. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. The rock has been used occasionally for macadamizing the roads in that district. Idle at the time of the USGS visit.
Local rocks include Oligocene marine rocks and/or Miocene marine rocks.
Workings include surface openings comprised of a quarry operation.
