A former lode Au mine located in the NE¼ sec. 24, T2N, R11E, MDM, 2.1 km (1.3 miles) SSE of Felix and 2.4 km (1.5 miles) NW of Hodson (site) (3½ miles NW of Copperopolis and ½ mile NW of the Mountain King Mine). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with veins and stringers. The ore body strikes N15W and dips 70SW at a thickness of 1.52 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of several inclined shafts and open cuts.
