An Fe occurrence/claim located 1.6 km (1.0 mile) NNW of The Pyramids (summit) (coordinates of record). T&R values are not presented for this location.

Mineralization is a sedimentary deposit (Mineral occurrence model information: Model code: 241; USGS model code: 34a; BC deposit profile: F10; Deposit model name: Superior Fe [BC name is Lake Superior & Rapitan types iron-formation]) of hematite ore in in vugs and irregular masses hosted in chert of the Mescal Limestone and quartzite. The ore body is 6.1 meters thick. Associated rocks include Neoproterozoic diabase. Local rocks include Permian to Pennsylvanian sedimentary rocks.

Analytical data results: 50.73% Fe, 0.25% P, 22.42% SiO2.
