A former underground U-V occurrence/mine located in approximate secs. 5, 6, 7 & 8, T36N, R29E, G&SRM, 1.6 km (1.0 mile) ESE of White Ash Peak (coordinates of record).
Mineralization is tyuyamunite and carnotite in lenticular masses hosted in Late Jurassic mudstone and sandstone of the Salt Wash Member of Morrison Formation. The ore body is 3.05 meters long. Ore bodies occur in units showing the most rapid variation in thickness in the Salt Wash member of the Morrison formation. Local rocks include Oligocene to Paleocene[?] sedimentary rocks.
Workings include underground openings comprised of 3 short adits.
Production was 52 tons @ 0.23% U3O8, 1.53% V2O5 (1953-1954).
