A former U-V occurrence/mine located in approximate sec. 1, T40N, R28E, G&SRM, 3.0 miles NW of Black Rock Point. T&R values are nor presented for this locality.

Mineralization is tyuyamunite in irregular tabular layers hosted in Late Jurassic claystone, siltstone and sandstone of the Salt Wash member of the Morrison formation on the NE limb of the Toh Atin anticline. Ore is found in clusters, usually associated with carbonaceous detritus. Local rocks include rocks of the Morrison Formation.

Workings include surface openings comprised of 2 shallow pits.

Production was 163 tons @ 0.22% U3O8; 1.82% V2O5 (1960-1961). Minor production occurred in 1948-1952 reported as West Reservation Lease.
