Skarn copper-gold deposit with associated quartz vein-type and porphyry style mineralization, occurring in the southeastern contact zone of the elliptical Tongguanshan quartz monzodiorite intrusion with Upper Carboniferous limestones and Middle Carboniferous dolomites. The ores are present as stratabound bodies, pipes, veins, and locally as stockworks and disseminations.
