A former surface and underground Ag-Pb-Cu-Au mine located in the center W½ sec. 34, T2S, R15E, 1 mile SSW of Old Baldy, 1½ miles E of Pasadena Mountain, on private land. Discovered 1897 and closed 1969. Owned by H-V. Mosley, W. W., Daley (1963). Kenneth Olsen was a past owner and operator; also, Manifest Mining Co. (1897-1900), and McGraw (1901). 9 unpatented claims in 1959.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in the Dripping Spring Quartzite and siltstone. The ore zone strikes E-W and dips 60-70S. The vein was described in the ADMR report as 12 feet wide where the tunnel intersects it. The mineralization is associated with Cretaceous-Early Tertiary intrusive period. An associated rock unit is rhyolite.
Area structures include N-S and NW faulting, beds trend NW to E-W and dip south, E-W-trending faults, one ENE, one WNW. The Dripping Springs Quartzite strikes E-W and dips 20S.
Workings include a tunnel 365 feet long, with large stoped area 120 feet from the adit; Group of several adits and pits. Dump sample (1976): 4.18 oz Ag/ton, 2.5% Pb, 2.3% Zn, 0.027% Cu.
